Lull Telehandlers
Since the year 1959, Lull has been producing telehandlers. Their machines have been made for load placement with their patented Stabil-Trak stability system. This system provides much more accurate placement capabilities. Lull telehandlers offer different optional attachments and these telehandlers can really help you complete your needs, while being efficient and safe at the worksite. When accuracy and precision are really vital, leave it to a Lull telehandler to complete everything you require.
The Future
Numerous attachments have been designed and developed in order to make rough terrain forklifts as efficient as possible. Winches, booms and rotating fork carriages allow the forklift to place materials in a more accurate manner. The articulating booms or booms come with 2 different extendible arms and are able to reach up and over structures so as to position loads on interior roof slope settings or in the center of upper floors. New attachments and products are being developed and designed all the time and will be available in the future.
Many improvements have been made with extra safety features becoming more prevalent. Like for example, load-reach management devices can restrict the forklift's reach automatically, based on the load being handled rather than depending on the operator. Pressure sensors are used to be able to determine the weight of the load. This information is sent to a small electronic memory device that had all the load-reach limitations pre-programmed into it.
When the load is being placed into position, the memory would compare the extension of the boom and the angle of the boom with the safety limits. There is an important lock-up device or a warning system which prevents the operator from over-reaching and possibly causing the boom to fail or the forklift to tip over.
