Established during 1920, FM GRU Tower Cranes started as a family company in the Northern Italy's largest industrial location. In the 1950s, when the farming economy was evolving into an industrial and manufacturing economy, the company was working in the metal structural sector and welded construction industries. FMgru was involved in constructing bridges for roads, pylons to convey electricity, a wide array of presses, forklifts, farming equipments and prefabrication molds.
The company began crane production in 1963. Over time, the business pooled all of its resources into this one activity. The target of this streamlining was to reach the highest level of specialization in the area of lifting.
